Sen. Sotto responded on US Singer James Taylor cancellation of concert: If you are not a pusher or a user, you have nothing to fear

Senator Tito Sotto responded on the decision of the Grammy award-winning singer James Taylor to cancel his Manila concert because of the drug war in the Philippines.

Taylor a former heroin addict, decided to cancel his not yet sold out concert because of his political stand and he said that alleged summary executions were unacceptable to anyone who loves the rule of law.

The Senator questioned the reason of Taylor to cancel his concert in the Philippines and he tweeted about the former drug abuse of the singer: “A singer said he loves d rule of law, “kaya?” Or he loves d lure of drugs?”

The Senator said that Taylor don’t need to worry about the action of the Duterte administration against illegal drugs.

Sotto wrote on his twitter post: “If you are not a pusher or a user, you have nothing to fear in the Philippines!”

Senator Sotto was one of the politicians who advocates a drug-free Philippines and he was one of the supporters of the drug war of President Rodrigo Duterte.

Taylor was a former heroin user during 80’s but by the help of her family successfully recovered and came back to his career.
