President Rody Duterte was asked about the drug raid operation happened in Bulacan during the anniversary celebration of the Volunteers Against Crime and Corruption in Malacañang. His answer was, these raids should be replicated to minimize the country’s drug problem.
The incidents happened when the police conducted an anti-drug operation in several towns in Bulacan resulting a single largest death toll in a police raid since the President declared was on illegal drugs.
PNP reports declared, there were 32 suspects killed in an encounter with the police officers while 109 suspects were arrested. As expected, the human rights advocates they call themselves would then again make sentiments and will ask justice for the slain drug suspects.
On the other side, Duterte will defend the policemen, and that he said, they were just doing their job because the drug problem was destroying the future of the next generation of Filipinos if you do not do anything drastic.
One way of reducing these drug problems that ails our country is by killing all of them. “Makapatay lang tayo ng mga another 32 everyday then maybe we can reduce the (illegal drug problem), then maybe we can reduce what ails this country.”
On the legal side, Duterte added, “You can persecute me after or now, whatever. You can assassinate me. But it does not really help unless we are all — like persuasion na tapusin talaga natin ito for the next generation” because this drug problem that we are in right now was “eating our country.”
