Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and Presidential candidate expressed his openness to defeat in the May 9 elections,reiterating that becoming the country’s president has never been his goal.
“I’ve never tasted defeat in an election, in any election in my life,”.
“I would be happy to suffer one at least before I die so I would know the experience.” he said during his speech in Rotary Club of Manila,Makati and Makati North.
Duterte who had repeatedly said he is not interested in seeking for a national position.
“Wala kasi akong ambisyon. You know, I have enough accolades in my life,” he said Thursday.
The tough-talking Mayor Rodrigo Duterte blurted out his frustrations on the country’s problem,while discussing his plans for the country if elected as President.
“Sinasabi ko talaga ipa-DQ(disqualify) niyo ako kasi I am daunted by the enormity of the problems of this country,” he said.
In his speech,Duterte said that he will be grateful to anyone who will be successful in disqualifying him for the presidential race.
“God I will thank you! Ipa-DQ n’yo ako. Go ahead!” he said.
“Ang problema ang mga abogado ko ayaw,” he added.
