Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and his running mate Senator Alan Peter Cayetano has vowed to bring back order,security and provide a better services and incentives for the AFP and PNP if they will be elected in 2016 elections.
“I will build hospitals for the AFP and PNP,” Sun Star qouted him as saying during a command conference at the Grand Menseng Hotel.
He also said that the family of the police who dies in the line of duty will be given incentives,a continue to receive salary in three years from the time of their death.
“I will make your families will receive your salaries. After three years then pwede na pumasok ang pension,” Duterte said.
“I will give you money. Just do it right,” he added.
Cayetano said that bringing back the peace and order and security to the lives of the Filipino people is what he and his running mate Mayor Duterte want to address in their first year of government.
“Mayor Duterte and I both believe we need a strong developmental state to promote real inclusive growth through regional development. But we need to build first the suitable condition by cracking down on crime, drugs and government corruption,” Philippine Star qouted him as saying.
He added that Duterte-Cayetano tandem will strengthen the country’s security forces, but the corrupt police and military officials will be removed from their service.
“Hindi na uubra ang pwede na o papatak-patak na pagbabago. Sa amin ni Mayor Duterte, makakaasa ang lahat ng tunay at tuloy-tuloy na pagbabago,” he said.
