Former Interior Secretary Manuel Roxas II and Presidential candidate said that Korina Sanchez his wife won’t have any role in government if he will be elected as the next President of the country.
In an interview with GMA News Mel Tiangco for “Wanted: President”, Korina Sanchez would continue to be a “homemaker” even if they moved to the Malacañang Palace, Roxas said.
When asked if Korina Sanchez is an asset or liability to his presidential candidacy, he answered: “She’s definitely an asset, I mean I love her, she loves me, we have a good family life.”.
He also said Korina Sanchez his wife more than 6 years was also an inspiration when it came to her “Tsinelas Campaign” which gives free slippers to the poor and especially to the children.
“I find that really very very uplifting kasi, and inspiring.
