Not just opening the bank accounts, but also the transaction history for past 9 years – Trillanes says

Vice Presidential candidate Senator Antonio Trillanes IV urged Presidential candidate Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte to show ‘the transaction history for the past nine years’ of his bank account.

In a statement, Trillanes said that opening the bank account should not be limited to current account balance alone.”It should also include the transaction history for the past nine years”. he said.

“This is important because, if Duterte has already withdrawn the money before Monday, then the total amount of transactions would not be reflected on the current account balance,” he added.

On Wenesday, Senator Trillanes claimed that Mayor Rodrigo Duterte has an undeclared bank account with P211 million. He also challenged the Mayor to sign a waiver allowing the opening of his accounts.

On the other hand, The daughter of Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte,Former Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte said that all the accusations were just a “black propaganda” lead by her father’s detractors.

“If it is true that what he is accusing us is a legitimate complaint, file it in court so I can answer properly,” Philippine Daily Inquirer quoted her as saying.

“They are all enemies. Of course, I grew up in politics and all of these were part of one election,” she said. “That is what we call black propaganda. These are slowly coming out. First was him being a womanizer and then a killer. And now this” she added.

Despite the accusations, Inday Sara thanked their supporters who remained loyal.

“I am thankful to them. Through thick and thin, they are there with us. In difficulties, they are with us” she said.
