Presumptive President Rodrigo Duterte disclosed that he received a call from the Prime Minister of Canadian Justin Trudeau early morning on Thursday.
Incoming President Duterte said that they talked about the death of the Canadian kidnap victims of the Abu Sayyaf Group and apologized for what happened.
“Please accept my apologies for the incident that resulted to the killing of your national. We will try our very best and see to it that it will never happen again. and rest assured that the time comes we will be able to apprehend the criminals and exect justice” the tough-talking Mayor of Davao City said.
“We are partners, we remain to be partners for all time. I’m aware there are Filipinos, a lot are working there, some are immigrants and I’m happy they have found protection in your labor laws” he added.
